More than 40 years ago, the first multidisciplinary diabetic foot clinic started by Prof. Michael Edmonds at King's College Hospital in London resulted in marked reduction in the need for amputations and continues to contribute to excellent clinical outcomes. UKIDFF has been established to provide a free specialist multidisciplinary diabetic foot team advice to the clinicians in India on all forms of diabetic foot presentations.
